As a clinical trichologist my work involves gathering your medical history, taking a detailed history of hair concerns, examining your scalp and hair in detail, making a diagnosis, and advising you on evidence-based treatment options to treat hair loss or scalp issues. Sometimes blood tests may be recommended, which can usually be undertaken via our associated blood test lab (additional fees apply), or via your GP.
